Mary Palisch Bio
Mary Palisch – 18 years’ experience
I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to the St. Louis area when I was 6 years old. I first lived in the Afton area until 3rd grade, and then moved out to Ballwin. That is where I spent the rest of my years until I attended Southeast Missouri State University where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Correction. After working with juvenile offenders, for two years, I stayed home with my own children until they were both in school. Later I returned to Lindenwood University were I received my teaching certificate, a Masters of Art in Education, and my Gifted certification. I have been employed all 18 years at Ft. Zumwalt School District. I spent my first 4 years teaching 3rd grade at Lewis and Clark Elementary. Since then I have been in the gifted program (JET) which is housed at St. Peters Elementary.
I have two children, Amanda, who has graduated from Southeast Missouri, and Elizabeth, who has also graduated from Southeast Missouri. They are both employed and live in the St. Louis area. In my free time I love to travel.
